Hawaiian shirts and summertime in the Boston Public Garden

I feel like I've been starting all of my posts lately by saying "thank heavens it's finally summer!"... but this day actually marked the beginning of summer in my mind!

Look! There was even ice cream!

It was so gorgeous out that pretty much the entire city was out and about! Plus, I'd say roughly half of that were in the Public Garden- we saw street performers, more than one wedding party, couples yoga, and more families than you could count!

But people watching (no matter how entertaining!) is not what we're here for today. Instead, I have a whooole bunch of outfit pics for you guys!

I scream, you scream... oh, you know what I'm going to say. Yay, ice cream!

I already know that my brother is going to give me so much crap about this post- I miiiight have sassed him the last time he wore his Hawaiian shirt? It's probably a good thing he rarely reads my blog so I won't have to hear his complaints now that I'm rocking mine!

The dress (under the thrifted Hawaiian print/pattern mixed button down) is the Ingrid dress from Brandy Melville! I've posted about this Brandy dress before (it's the one with the low back!) and am still obsessed with it! I have one of those names that was never printed on key chains or beaded bracelets when I was little, so I cherished everything that shared my name... a state of mind which has carried over into adulthood in the form of this dress!

Earrings: J.Crew
Purse & Shirt: Thrifted
Dress: Brandy Melville (old, but they have a similar dress that comes in black, maroon, blush, and white!)
Shoes: Frye (old)

I have wayyy more pictures from this day so let me know if you want to see the goofy ones of me with my girl Phyllis Wheatley or twirling so much that I almost got run over by hooligans on bicycles!

I'm going to leave you with my favorite of the bunch! Many thanks to James for playing photographer and helping me get a picture that actually makes me look like a city-slickin' fashion blogger!
