Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap (Review)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Guess whaaaaat?! It's another review time! For the first time EVER I'm running two giveaways at once! So, there's something for everyone- do you love skincare? Stay right where you are, because I have an awesome product for you! Are books more your style? Head over to this post here to enter! Like both? Open up a new tab and enter allll the giveaways! How awesome is that?

Anyways, about the aforementioned awesome product? Not only did Helping Tree send me a bar of there Bamboo Charcoal Soap AND offer to give you one, they also sent me a bar to give as a present! It currently resides on my Mother's bathroom counter!

Their product description is, "Lets Your Skin Breathe Again" which is just ridiculously awesome! I don't know 'bout you, but my pores can feel kind of caked over and suffocated by my makeup or other skin care products. This little baby reaches deep so that your pores can take a deep breath and sigh in happiness!

Isn't the bar cute? I love the stamp on top, it's very tree-of-life-y!

It cleans so deeply because it's super high in absorbency- about 4x that of wood charcoal, in case you were wondering!- which is especially helpful (and necessary) if you have skin problems like acne, eczema, psoriasis, or painful dryness/cracking. Healing Tree claims to "cleanse your skin by removing yers of accumulated dead skin cells." Yes, please, take them all!

I've been using this little darling in the mornings. Unlike my Adovia Deed Sea Mud soap, this Bamboo Charcoal version leaves behind NO residue! It goes on and comes off super easily, leaving my skin clean and refreshed. I use both to fight a tumultuous battle against acne, and they reply do make a visible difference!

If that's not enough for you, check out these amazing benefits of Charcoal Soap:
Remove Dead Skin Cells
Unclogs Pores
Smoother Skin
Natural Ingredients
Hypoallergenic
Detoxifying
Frangrance Free

Still not enough? Wow, you guys are picky! Luckily, this soap lives up to even the highest of scrutiny (well, almost the highest. My mom doesn't like how it smells so she doesn't use it. I've found that the smell dissipates after the first use, but her sensibilities must be more sensitive than mine!). It's made using only four simple and recognizable ingredients- Vegetable Oil, Water, Glycerin, and Bamboo Charcoal. PLUS! Healing Tree does not use dyes, harmful chemicals, or animal testing! That's the kind of brand I can really get behind!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
