pastel pointers

I paint my nails a lot. It's the only way I've found to keep myself from biting them (nasty habit, I know). I also feel the need to remove all of the paint and redo them at the first sign of chip-age. I've amassed quite a collection of polish- something that has only seemed to grow since I'm living with seven other girls.

Also, in living with a whole bunch of friends, nail painting has become a bit of a communal activity! Before the first day of classes, Laura and I put all of our bottles on the kitchenette table and debated which ones to use. Kitty piped up and helped me arrange the pastels I'd chosen.

Aren't they purty?

I ended up painting each nail a different color, going from a cool blue on my thumb to a warm, vibrant orange on my pinkie!

I ended up liking the combination so much that I did it again last night! So, thank you, Kittredge!

It reminds me of a kindergarden classroom... in a fun way!
What's your favorite way to paint your nails?

  1. I am the SAME way! Once the polish starts to chip, it all has to go. I haven't painted mine in a while but they are in desperate need of it. I love the different colored nail style - especially the color combo you did!

    Cheers,
    Alyson

  2. It's such a pretty collection . A piece of confession but I do the same when my nail biting habit goes out of hands ;)
