smilingrid: Laura!

April 01, 2014

My darling Canadian is stealing the show today!

Laura paired Majestical's necklace with a flow turquoise top, black leggings, and slouchy, suede-like boots. Add a dash of adorable, and I think we've got a winning look!

Fun fact: When she was younger, Laura wanted to be another Canadian leading lady, Avril Levine... Oh, who are we kidding? She definitely still does!

She really loves hummus (like A LOT). We used to have snack time right after the first class we'd ever shared (this is the first semester at BC that we aren't taking a class together. My heart still hurts over it *crying*), and it quickly became evident that she liked hummus more than anyone I'd ever known.

Laura's also just really really cool. When asked where her favorite place in the world is, do you know what she says? THIS, "airports and the middle of nowhere in Kenya." Do you know anyone else who can say that?

Laura, Laura, Laura. I know I say it a whole lot, but I will never stop being grateful to BC for putting us in that class together first semester freshman year. Your friendship has really grown to mean more to me than I can say. We've laughed and cried together- thankfully more laughing than crying- so thank you for being such a wonderful presence in my life, and for being your precious self in this photoshoot! I love you!
