Hydrating CC Cream Review

Disclaimer: I received the featured product within this post free of charge for promotional purposes. However, all opinions expressed here are my own. No content will ever be published on smilingrid if I don't personally endorse it AND think my readers will enjoy it.

That being said, enjoy!

You may remember my diving into the world of BB creams? Since doing so, it seems that every time I turn around there is another alphabet product calling my name! Wherever am I supposed to start?

Studio Gear Cosmetics seems like an excellent choice!

Studio Gear Cosmetics is dedicated to delivering quality beauty products to every and any woman... at a reasonable cost. Color me intrigued! I signed up for their Hydrating CC Cream review to investigate further!

I received the cream in "Linen" because I am a ghost haunting this post-winter Boston landscape. The best-seller also comes in shades "Natural" and "Wheat."

cool, right?

Can we just take a second to appreciate the minimalism of their design? Black and White, straight forward, functional... what else do you really need?

I was a leetle concerned upon squeezing a testing amount from the tube, seeing as how it looks a bit like Elmer's glue. I know I'm pale (hence, ghost jokes at my own expense), but I'm not actually the color of that substance that resides in all elementary school classrooms.

glop!

Still pretty glue-y...

...oh wait...

...what!?!...

Magic. It's the only explanation.

No, seriously! This product is incredible- I haven't used any other cream (not even my beloved BBs) as foundation since opening this tube! It really does adjust impeccably to your skin tone, perfecting and correcting as you apply. It's got SPF 20 and continuously delivers hydration to skin battered by a long and drying winter. My only complaint is that the moisturizing aspect leaves me a little oily by the end of the day, but that's easily fixed by some primer underneath or some powder on top! Easy peasy, perfect! I shan't use another foundation for a loooooong time coming!

Luckily for you lovelies, Studio Gear has offered to give smilingrid readers a discount on their already awesome prices! Pop "bloggercc" into your shopping cart to receive 10% off of your order! PLUS, for the month of April, SGC is gifting a natural warmth lip pencil with every order AND a teal eye shadow with every order over $50. I've got my eye on a few goodies... Which are your favorites?
