smilingrid: guess what came?!

guess what came?!

Packages are always fun to receive! I don't think anyone will contest that and I might even go so far as to say, "it is a truth universally acknowledged." Some daily Jane Austen for you, you're welcome.

As some of you might remember from this post here, I have been waiting in suspense for my new glasses to arrive! If timing had worked out, they should have been on my doorstep the day before I left for school. Unfortunately, there was some confusion with shipping, but my mom dropped them off for me (oh, the joys of being close to home!).

Damn you, post office!

The outside packaging wasn't anything out of the ordinary, but once I started opening my parcel it felt like Christmas!

The multiple boxes made me think of nesting dolls, which was fun!
Plus, I like this simple outer box. It feels really nice in my hands, and I'm contemplating filling it up with some tea!

They kindly stamped their name into all of the boxes, just in case I forgot where they came from!

A sweet little note greeted me when I finally had a visual on my glasses case. I like that Warby Parker is more personal, both in store and in the packaging!

How pretty is that blue! I ran around and showed it to all of my roommates while exclaiming over the case, the glasses, and my general happiness!

Speaking of the glasses, check these bad boys out! I think this is the start of a beautiful relationship.

  1. I love getting packages, even when it's a bunch of books or something. It's opening them that's the fun part!

    1. oh, the addiction! I, too, make my wallet sad with online shopping! I'm challenging myself to avoid ordering things online while at school and I foresee it being very difficult...
I'll head over to your blog and give it a look-see! Thanks for following!
