Welcome back to part 2 of Makeup and Must Reads! This time, let me tell you how much you should read/listen to Mexican Gothic on Libro.fm because WOW what a book! The makeup this time is focused on the red and gold on this gorgeous gothic cover. (I'm looking for more green eyeshadow in order to best represent covers on my shelves going forward)
Since filming this, I have also read Gods of Jade and Shadows by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and loved it for very different reasons! It's so amazing when authors are able to knock stories out of the park in differing genres. What a talent.
What are your favorite gothic novels? I've only really read Irish gothic and want to expand my boundaries!
