Her Campus #CollegeFashionWeek recap (with goodie bag unboxing!)

This post is sponsored by Her Campus Media and its College Fashion Week brand partners. All opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make smilingrid possible!

Stephanie, Windsor, and Annie are such #squadgoals and I was lucky enough to bring two of my fave ladies with me! #girlgangs
Interspersed with all of my chit chatting about the event are some of my favorite looks from the runways which included ten looks each of rush with Ali & Ariel and Frill Clothing, Festival with Foray Collective, Study Chic with My Social Canvas, and Girls' Night out with Bow & Drape! The shows were absolutely amazing, walked in by some of Boston's colleges Her Campus Chapter members. It was super cool seeing normal, individually beautiful women coming together and walking in full-on fashion shows!

Let me just start by saying this: College Fashion Week was mind-blowingly amazing! No seriously, the kind of amazing that makes me want to pack up and follow them to every stop on the tour. That amazing.

It's the fifth year that Her Campus has been putting on College Fashion Week and providing an event for the fashion-obsessed to come together and celebrate what makes us unique! It's basically one super fun, empowering, and inclusive multi-city fashionable party! Does it get any better? Actually, yes, because HC is showcasing up-and-coming female fashion designers and entrepreneurs at every stop!

The night was split up between mingling- both with each other and with sponsors- and the fashion shows. I filmed all of them for immediate posting on Facebook, so definitely check them out if you haven't already!

psssssst guess who won this?!!!! check the video at the end to see if you're right!

As press (omgomgomg) I was lucky enough to go in early and get a little extra mingling in! I LOVE chatting with the sponsors, especially before things get hectic and crazy busy, so this was utter perfection in my book!

The first thing you see when you enter is an amazing photo booth-the backdrop adorned with all of the CFW branding and not with a red carpet, but a shag carpet! I just about died! It was so much fun to take pictures with fellow past HC interns and post them straight from the booth!

Obviously the first non-photo stop had to be mini cupcakes with Whipped, Urban Cupcake Co extraordinaire! The women running the stand were so sweet and they actually ended up sharing a pic of me and their little bites of deliciousness on Instagram! Also, I could seriously eat my weight in their pumpkin spice latte cupcake because HELLO perfect fall treat! So much winning in such a little cupcake. They also had the world's cutest candy bar set up which was absolutely swarmed all night!

Next stop was the European Wax Center set up! They had a whole brow station set up-which was perfect as mine were running wild and free all day! Obviously you need #browfection at a Her Campus event- the fashion! The beauty! The abundance of photographs! And the brow game strong enough to complement all three!

Feeling parched from all that pampering, I stopped by the extremely colorful Sparkling Ice activation! Currently partnering with Trolls, they were offering makeup artist created colorful eye makeup to match their delicious, refreshing, and actually good-for-you beverages. While I showed up with full makeup done (minus the brows!), both of my roommates stepped out of their comfort zones and absolutely LOVED their colorful looks! I'm pretty sure we're going to be recreating the blue-green-ombré marvel for our next girls' night out!

One step to the left was the beautiful Bertha watches table! The little boxes they had set out were amazing mini nail-care kits with "a gift from Bertha" on the front- gotta have cute nails to go with your watch! I'm in loooove with their purple designs (and their Signature and Classic lines... And their charmed collection... Pretty much their everything, to be honest). Their watches combine high fashion, traditional craftsmanship and a certain "je ne sais quoi" to create a piece of art you can wear on your wrist!

The last (but certainly not the least!) of the booths I visited was the Maidenform table! They had this huge green screen to accurately size you for tights, mannequins everywhere showing off their gorgeously sneaky shape wear, and two amazing giveaways to enter! One of my roommates and I each won a super comfy (and cute af, dear lord) tank top from them!

Speaking of giveaways- HC is ruling QUEEN of the giveaway and #CFW was no different! They had social giveaways running for Drybar (psssst did you know they were named one of the top "100 Brilliant Ideas of 2010" AND "Boom Brands of 2013"? Because daaaaang!), an HC #CFW exclusive crop, and a -give this one a moment- Rebecca Minkoff purse! Rebecca Minkoff and Vince Camuto were big-name sponsors that helped style the runway shows, along with tech accessory Fitbit. I am ridiculously obsessed with all three- can someone please fill my closet with purses and leather jackets from Rebecca Minkoff, heels (and flats!) from Vince Camuto, and alllll the beautiful jewelry accessories for my Fitbit Flex 2? Because #goals

haaaay alma mater! "I'll BCing you" too cute!

Hooooooly moly, let's talk goodie bags! Instead of me type-type-typing away though, I figured I'd include a video portion in this post!

Let me know your thoughts about #CFW in the comments! Have you been in the past? Do you want (*cough*need*cough*) to go now that you see how amazing it is? (The correct answer is yes)
